Healthy Schools Status

On 2nd July 2020, the Academy was re-awarded Healthy Schools Status.

The status is awarded according to a school meeting the following:

• Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) - 13 criteria.
• Healthy Eating - 11 criteria.
• Physical Activity  - 10 criteria.
• Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (including staff wellbeing) - 9 criteria.

School Food Plan

As part of the School Food Plan, a new set of standards were launched by the DfE and came into effect from January 2015. Although not mandatory, the Academy has signed up to the School Food Standards to demonstrate its continued commitment to the health and wellbeing of its pupils.
